HIKING IN IRELAND AND UK

In the North of England you can explore places like the National Park of Lake District where mountains and lakes combine in beautiful landscapes. The national park offers free guided walks and there is a good offer of youth hostels all over the place. For more information visit the website of the national park: Lake District National Park
You can also adventure further north to the wild lands of Scotland and hike in the impressive Highlands or in some of the islands. Or you can go to many places of England and Wales.
Some of the agencies that offer trips there are:
Mountain Innovations

There is an interesting British website where you can find a lot of information about hill walking in this country: Walking on the Web
In Ireland you can drop yourself in county Kerry where the highest mountains of Ireland are, and visit the National Park of Killarney with a lot of walks to do. And while there, why not visiting the next county, Cork, the garden of Ireland, where the coast is really impressive.
We can go further, to the county that is south of Dublin, and visit the Wicklow Mountains or explore Connemara and the Aran Islands near Galway. In Ireland you can participate in the popular walking festivals that are organised in different places of the country (visit the website of Waymarked Ways of Ireland for more information).
