TREKKING IN THE MOUNTAINS OF NORWAY

Norway, the country of the fjords, has landscapes with a beauty difficult to equalize by other European countries.
Among the numerous tourist attractions of this country, one might emphasize cities as fascinating as Bergen, fjords as impressive as Geiranger and glaciers as enormous as Jotunheim (the biggest glacier in Europe).

We can not forget the famous Lofoten Islands where it is possible to observe seals and many sea birds like puffins.
Furthermore, in Norway you can cross the Arctic Circle and visit lands full of reindeers, experience the midnight sun and reach the furthest point to the north in Europe, the North Cape.

The Norwegian Mountain Touring Association organises plenty of trekking trips to different places of this fascinating country. People of any nationality can participate as long as they speak English. If you are interested in this, you can check the program for this year in their website:

If you have enough experience in mountaineering and you prefer to go by yourself, you can also organise your own trip and spend the nights in the cabins that belong to this association for a small fee.
