VOLUNTARY WORK IN NEPAL

Located along the highest summits of Himalya, Nepal is one of the most beautiful countries in the world for its impressive landscapes. This makes Nepal a top destination for trekking and hiking trips. It is also one of the countries in the world with higher number or religious monuments. Its temples, palaces, pagodas and sanctuaries surprises the visitor for their magnificence and beauty.

It is located between two powerful countries, China and India. However, the systems of education, transport, health, communications, etc, are extremely insufficient, to the point that in many cases they are considered completely inexistent. The 80% of the population live in rural areas with a very basic economic structure. Althouth in the last years new schools, health centres and other facilities have been built, a big part of the population continue without improving their living conditions, specially the children of the lowest castes and the orphanes.

If you are interested in doing voluntary work in Nepal, we recommend you INFO Nepal, that offers you to participate in programs as various as teaching English, health care education, environmental awareness, orphanages and community projects. You will also et training and in your program you can include cultural visits and hiking trips.
