 VOLUNTARY WORK
We know and recommend some organisations, especially in Greece, Spain, the UK and Ireland (in Europe), Peru, Ecuador and Chile (in South-America), India and Nepal (in Asia). If you want to go to a work camp (short period volunteering) anywhere in the world, you can try Service Civil International.
We mostly offer information about environmental voluntary work but we also offer information about volunteering in other areas (children, health, community projects, teaching, etc). Next we will describe some of the voluntary work that we can offer to you. 
 UK:
An opportunity to practice English and get to know beautiful places of this country, while at the same time meeting people of different nationalities and getting experience in environmental and conservation work.

Ireland:
You can choose between environmental voluntary work in nature reserves and social voluntary work in some organisations. If you want to live an interesting experience and improve your English, this could be your ideal option.

Peru:
 
It is a natural paradise with a lot of possibilities for the environmental voluntary work. We also have contact with different organisations that carry out interesting projects of education, art and intercultural activities in different regions.

Chile:
The work takes place in different orphanages of Santiago de Chile and the volunteers get accomodation there. The volunteers don't have to pay any fee and the minimum stay is 3 months. The volunteer can do tasks as various as preparing meals, giving grinds, taking the kids on excursions or organasing workshops. |

Greece:
| If you are interested in turtles and you would like to spend some time on the idyllic Greek Islands, this is your opportunity. There are different projects and places to choose from and the minimum stay is for 6 weeks. There are two possibilities: seasonal field work (from May to October) on one of the islands or all year round at the Sea Turtle Rescue Centre in Athens. |

Spain:  
Volunteering in Spanish National Parks for 10-20 days and without any cost to the volunteer. The work is organised by the staff of the National Parks in collaboration with important nature conservation organisations. The work is different depending on the national park due to their different projects, but most of them work with fauna. It is neccessary to have an intermediate level of Spanish in order to participate. The enrolment take place in March or April.
